Bali Barat National Park

           National Park is a nature conservation area which has a native ecosystem, managed by the zoning system, which can be utilized for the purpose of research, science, support aquaculture, tourism and recreation.
         Bali Barat National Park has a wide 19002.89 ha. consists of an area of 15587.89 ha of terrestrial area. and 3415 ha of water areas selaus. Potential of the Bali Barat National Park covers a wide variety of wild flora and fauna, with the status of rare, protected or whose existence is still abundant, habitat and location of geomorphology and natural beauty.
        Bali Barat National Park is located at the western tip of Bali island approximately 2 Kilometres from Port crossing Gili, Manuk. To get to this area can be reached by land vehicles. From the capital city of Bali Province, Denpasar, can be reached for ± 3 hours drive inland.

        Like other residents immediately adjacent to the forest as a conservation area, the population dependence on forest resources is also still quite high. This dependence is usually of wood resources for domestic use or livestock feed resources. This dependence of course also more or less will affect the integrity and sustainability of resource conservation areas. In addition, forest resources are frequently used commodities and is taken from the park by residents such as wild animals.
        Some of the facilities and infrastructure for the benefit of the existing natural attractions include: several attractions that are within the National Park and surrounding National Parks. For inside the National Park area, mostly in the form of cultural tourism in the form of temples. Some of the facilities owned by the National Park Information Centre including the National Park Office, shelters spread across the region.
       Bali Barat National Park often identical as a national park was established to provide protection for the survival / existence of Bali Starling – Jalak Bali (Leucopsar rothchildi). But generally speaking, the area is rich in potential Bali Barat National Park’s fauna. Based on the type, contained in Bali Barat National Parks fauna is comprised of the seven species of mammals, two types of reftilia, 105 aves species, 120 species of fish, and others.
