Tanah Lot Bali Resorts with Unique Hindu Temple

          Tanah lot is one of the famous tourist resort in Bali, Indonesia. Tanah lot is located on the coast west bali, at the village of Beraban in the Tabanan regency. Tanah lot means “Land in the Middle of the sea” in Balinese language. Tanah Lot, famous for its two temples unique and magical. The first temple is “Dang Kahyangan” located on the middle of the beach and second temple is “Sagara Temple” is located on the cliff.

          According to story, the origin of the two temples were built by a Brahmin who wandered from Java, which is Danghyang Nirartha. Two temples were built in the 16th century at that time lots of land commanded by Bendesa beraben, because envy seeing a lot of people leave lots of land and follow Danghyang Nirartha. So Bendesa beraben ordered Danghyang Nirartha to leave Tanah lot. Danghyang Nirartha then agreed to leave the tanah lot, but before left the land, he moved a boulder to the middle of beach and built a temple there. He also changed his scarf into a snake guard the temple. According to the story of this snake was still there until now. End story Bendesa beraben has become followers Nirartha Danghyang.
