Ngaben, Cremation Ceremony in Bali
        Ngaben is cremation ceremony performed in Bali, especially by Hindus, where Hinduism is the religion of the majority on this island. Ngaben ceremony at its core meaning is to restore the ancestral spirits to their places of origin. This ceremony is usually conducted by family as a form of respect for a child to his parents
        Ngaben performed with a lively, no sobs, because the Balinese people belief that there should be no crying for die people because it can hamper the spirits travel to the place. A few days before Ngaben ceremony was held, the family is assisted by the public will make the Coffin (coffin is a funerary box used in the display and containment of deceased remains – either for burial or cremation). This coffin is placed inside a sarcophagus resembling a buffalo made of paper and wood.

        On the day of the ceremony, the bodies of Balinese traditional clothes will fit like a person who is still alive. Ash is then dumped into the sea or rivers that are considered sacred.
        This is the cause of family ties in Bali is very strong, because they always remember and honor ancestors and parents. There is a belief that experiencing reincarnation of ancestral spirits who will be back in the family circle again, so usually a grandchild is a reincarnation of his parents.
